The Colorado Book Festival is going to be held at the Denver Public Library on March 3. I’ll be there doing a book signing as well as giving a presentation on legal issues authors may face. The panel is:
Can They Really Say That?: Defamation, Plagiarism, and Writing Beyond the Legal Limit. We hear the term “Fake News” all the time. But what can writers legally put into print? This interactive workshop with lawyer-writers Chuck Greaves, Sheldon Friedman, and Darin Gibby will cover defamation, the right to privacy, the right of publicity, plagiarism, and fair use, and provide defensive strategies for writers.
Here is a flyer for the event, and the link to the site is here.
