Have you ever heard about people going off to backpack in Asia and they seem to disappear for a few years?  I found them in Hoi An.

Besides the ecclectic mix of people, this place in central Vietnam is one of the neatest places I’ve visited.  With all the shops and restaurants along the river in this ancient port, it has a charm that is unmatched.  About two decades ago, UNESCO added it to one of their World Heritage Sites.  I’ve included a few photos below.
