Last week I ran this La Jolla race with some colleagues from Japan.  It was great. The race went right past my house in La Jolla shores.  It was nice to be able to walk down the hill to my house after the race.

What was even better is that a nice swell was just hitting when I got back and so I pulled out the surfboard and caught a few waves.  Was pretty wiped out after that.
